The mission of Judicial Affairs is to support the mission of both the University and the Division of Student Affairs. Specifically, Judicial Affairs seeks to work collaboratively with other departments in a effort to create a safe, secure, and civil environment where learning, growth and development can take place both inside and outside of the classroom.
To this end, the Judicial Affairs Office has three overarching responsibilities:
1)Oversee the process of educating the campus community about the Rules of Student Conduct and Procedures for review of Student Conduct.
2)Oversee the process for enforcing the Rules of Student Conduct.
3)To create opportunities for involvement from the campus community in the aforementioned endeavors.
The Rules
of Student Conduct are written for every student of the University
community, and apply to all students enrolled or accepted for admission.

The Sanctioning Guidelines were developed to provide some general consistency to the various judicial boards to use in determining appropriate sanctions.
